These Booking terms &
conditions form an entity with the other information offered
on this site and with the details on the final booking
form. Changes and errors occasionally occur. You should
check price and availability of your chosen holiday at
the time of booking.
MOERLAND HOLIDAY RENTALS is the english
trade name of MOERLAND VERHUUR, Postbus 120, 3150 AC Hoek
v. Holland in the Netherlands.
1.
Booking
1.1 You can book your chosen property
for a desired period by mail, fax or phone.
1.2 You will then receive by mail or E-mail
the invoice, the final reservation form, the booking terms
& conditions and the canceling insurance terms &
conditions.
1.3. If you want to change your booking
after you receive the final reservation form, an extra
booking fee of 15.00 euros will be charged.
1.4 The final reservation form needs to
be returned to MOERLAND HOLIDAY RENTALS by mail. On this
reservation form all the names of the persons who will
make use of the property must be entered.
2. Payments
2.1 On the invoice you will find: a) the
total rent b) the booking fees c) the canceling insurance
fees d) and the deposit amount.
2.2 In most cases, payment is carried
out in 2 terms. When you return by mail the final reservation
form you need to pay 25% of the total rent and the total
amount of canceling insurance fees. The remainder of the
rent, the deposit and the booking fees should be settled
8 weeks before the commencing date at the latest.
2.4 If the booking takes place only 2
months before the holiday period payment will be settled
in one term.
2.5 The booking will be validated once
the 1st payment and the final reservation form is received.
2.6 The cancellation insurance always
needs to be paid with the first payment.
2.7 The deposit is paid together with
the last payment.
3. Canceling
your holiday
3.1 When you book a property a canceling
insurance is automatically subscribed. The canceling insurance
fees are 5 % of the total rent plus administration costs.

3.2 Should you cancel your validated holiday,
you must notify it in writing by recorded delivery to
our french office.
4. Arrival
/ Departure
4.1 If not stated differently the arrival/departure
day is at Saturday.
4.2 Arrival time can not be earlier than
3:30 pm. Departure time can not be later than 8h30 if
MOERLAND HOLIDAY RENTALS does the cleaning of the property.
If you are cleaning the property the departure time is
delayed until 10h00 am. Exceptions can be made on demand
in the low season periods. On arrival, our French office
reception is open for check-in from 3h30 pm until 6h00
pm. If you should arrive after the opening times let us
know. An additional charge may be made for arrival or
departure outside these times.
5.
Cleaning
5.1 The cleaning of the house will always
be done by our service and will be taken off of the deposit
after departure of the renters. The amount of cleaningcosts
is mentioned in the text of the houses.
5.2 With pets an extra cleaning fee of
30.00 euros will be charged.
6.
Your stay in the property
6.1 You agree to stay in the property
for the rental period listed on the final booking form.
In any case, your stay can not exceed that rental period.
6.2 You agree to treat the property with
care and consideration and report any damage or breakages
prior to departure or, if significant, as soon after its
occurrence as possible.
6.3 You agree to ensure that no member
of your party behaves in a manner likely to cause damage
to the property or its contents or offence, danger or
distress to others.
6.4 You agree to leave the property clean
and tidy at the end of the rental period otherwise a final
cleaning charge will be made.
6.5 You agree to permit only the pets
listed on the final booking form to get in the property.
6.6 You agree to permit only those listed
on the final booking form to reside in the property and
not to sublet or assign the property or any part of it,
not to exceed the maximum number of people permitted to
reside there (as stated in the property details or otherwise
agreed by us and the owner).
6.7 The parking of caravans or pitching
of tents is forbidden unless special agreement with us
and the owner.
6.8 In case of any damages the costs for
repairs/replacements will be settled with the deposit.
6.9 Additional costs such as gas, electricity,
cleaning service and the extra services you have asked
for in the final reservation form are settled with the
deposit.
6.10 Tourist taxes are not included in the rental tariffs.
The local government can always decide to ask or raise
the tourist taxes. If you're to pay these taxes it will
be mentioned in the villa's binder.
Costs will be deducted from the deposit or be paid to
the owner directly.
6.11 The deposit will be returned after
deduction of costs (sheets, towels, cleaningcosts, electricity)
at not earlier than one month after your departure.
7. Liability
7.1 MOERLAND HOLIDAY RENTALS can not accept
any liability for damages and injury, which could occur
to any person during their stay.
7.2 MOERLAND HOLIDAY RENTALS can not accept
any liability for compensation where performance or prompt
performance of its obligations is prevented or affected
by reasons outside its control or by circumstances amounting
to force majeure nor for any failures in the supply of
public services, plumbing or sewage systems or domestic
equipment (but will endeavour to arrange prompt repair).
7.3 MOERLAND HOLIDAY RENTALS can not accept
any liability for changes in the inventory, carried out
by the owners during holiday season, which have not been
reported to us.
7.4 Children should be monitored at all
times and you should verify the suitability of the equipment,
particularly children cot's, high-chairs and other items
as MOERLAND HOLIDAY RENTALS can not accept liability.
7.5 Swimming pool do not have depth markings
and you should check the water depth before using the
pool. Diving is at your own risk. Children must be monitored
while being close to the swimming pool or while swimming.
Children that can not swim must have appropriate equipment.
