Booking a holiday in the Languedoc region of southern France, in one of our superb holiday villas, has never been easier, quicker or as good value. Coming by car, plane or train? The choice is yours - but to make getting here as easy as possible, we've put together some practical travel information, listed below:

How do I get to the Moerland Holiday Rentals office in Prades-sur-Vernazobre ?

Moerland Holiday Rentals office in Prades near St-Chinian - Languedoc In Saint-Chinian, when arriving from Beziers, turn right in the town centre just before the bridge, towards Cessenon-sur-Orb.

After about 50m, you'll see the 'Gau' garden centre on your left. Turn left just at the roundabout towards Combejean. Go through the hamlet of Combejean and on for another 1km until you come to Prades-sur-Vernazobre. The Moerland offices are just before the village on your right. View ViaMichelin Locator map

By car

You can reach our holiday villas by car via the following motorways:

The A7-A9 via Lyon/Valence, Orange and Béziers

Taking the A7-A9 via Lyon/Valence, Orange and Béziers is the best route should you be coming into France from the north east - or heading for the eastern side of Languedoc - the departments of the Gard or Herault.

The A75 via Clermont-Ferrand and the Millau bridge

Taking the A75 via Clermont-Ferrand and the Millau bridge is an excellent route for those traveling from the UK and Ireland. It's the shortest route to the Languedoc region, and offers spectacular scenery along the way. You'll also not have to pay tolls after Clermont-Ferand.

The A62-A61 via Bordeaux, Toulouse and Carcassonne

Taking the A62-A61 via Bordeaux, Toulouse et Carcassonne is the best route should you be coming from the west of France, and heading for the western regions of Languedoc - such as the departments of the Aude and Pyrenees-Orientales.

By train

By train, with the TGV, the Thalys and Eurostar, journey times really aren't that far behind those of airlines. The closest stations to our holiday villas are Montpellier, Beziers and Narbonne. Traveling to Montpellier gives you greater choice in terms of arrival times. For more information, visit: www.voyages-sncf.com.

By plane

Low-cost carriers such as RyanAir have brought Languedoc closer than ever. With airports at Montpellier, Nimes, Perpignan, Carcassonne and now Béziers, you can get here in no time and for very little money.

From Germany

Fly from Francfort-Hahn to Montpellier with the "Lowcost" airline Ryanair. Our nearest villas are about half-an-hour from Montpellier airport.
Other solutions: Fly to Toulouse or Girona (in Spain) with RyanAir if you live near Dusseldorf or Karlsruhe. You can book your car hire at the same time as your flights on the RyanAir website.

From the UK or Ireland

Flying to Carcassonne with Ryanair is probably your best bet. We have villas just 30 minutes drive from Carcassonne airport.
Other solutions: Fly to Toulouse with FlyBe, BMI or British Airways - or to Montpellier with British Airways.

From Norway or Denmark

The airline 'Sterling' flies to Montpellier. Our nearest villas are about half-an-hour from Montpellier airport.
NEW with AirBorne Consulting and Cimber Air !!! Weekly flights to BEZIERS from ODENSE in Denmark from the 24st of May until the 18th of October 2008.

From Sweden

Fly from Stockholm-Skavsta to Girona (in Spain) with the "Lowcost" airline Ryanair. Our nearest villas are about 2 hours' drive from Montpellier airport. You can book your car hire at the same time as your flights on the RyanAir website.

From further afield

Either fly to Montpellier and Toulouse with Air France (you'll be changing at Paris), or fly to London Heathrow and take a British Airways flight to Montpellier.
